On 6 April 2006, in conjunction with EIDD Sweden’s AGM and after comprehensive preparatory work, ten collaborative projects were launched under the auspices of DESIGN FÖR ALLA.SE. Information on these projects was published on the project’s website, www.designforalla.se. The collaborative projects involve around thirty players in the public, voluntary and private sectors, covering everything from the design of the urban environment, historic buildings, public transport and culture to education, working life, packaging design and IT.
The project’s aim of getting a large number of players and stakeholders involved in collaborative projects in a number of areas of society has been achieved.
The collaborative projects examine, develop and then document a broad spectrum of processes aimed at the practical application of Design for All. These processes, and the solutions generated, will all make a unique contribution to the improvement of knowledge in the field, creating a rich source of inspiration for continued development work based on the Design for All concept.
