The Campaign for the Liberation of Diversity
The message of the campaign is:
"Most of what is built and designed in our society is adapted to suit the average person who is 173.3 cm tall, whose muscle strength is 4.1 watts/kg and who has 1.7 children. Or to put it simply: A person who doesn’t exist.
Imagine if design and architecture could instead be just as varied and exciting as the future users. There is no conflict between artistic quality and accessibility in design and architecture. Merely varying degrees of difficulty and skill. Only the best are able to take into account all the various aspects of use and mix it with bold design.
Now we challenge you and all the other architects and designers in Sweden. Join the liberation movement against the dictatorship of the average. Free diversity!"
